Malvarion of the Black Tower

2 minis done in one day! This one is for my Wizy in the game we are playing right now, just to fitting to pass up on this guy :D.  He was a lot of fun to paint and I was very happy with how the runes on his cloak came out. Oh in case you are wondering, he has a big bag of marshmallows in that brown sack on his belt.  That way he is prepared if he should need to roast them should he actually set the world on fire.

Mohsar the Desertwalker and New Paint Shelves!

I speed painted this one just to get him done...I do like the way he looks just not a fun one to paint, but hey he is done!  And he only took about an hour of my time as well :D  I am going to use him for D&D as well as another bad guy but least if I every need him for my Circle army he will be ready as well.

I also got my new shelves all set up sot the painting room is DONE! The paint shelves came from Table Top Gaming Bunker took about 3 weeks for him to make them but I think they were worth the wait :D

This guy is from Freebooter Miniatures and is going to be a bad airship captain in my D&D game.  He was a blast to paint and he also came with the base so there was not basing work needed!

Myrianna of Aelfheim

This mini is also for my upcoming D&D game and she is from Red Box Games. She was a lot of fun to paint and I love the little dragon on her shoulder.

Crane Base MkII!

Right so the first one did not come out as well as I wanted it to, so after talking with Rod I decided to do it over.  This time with plasticard and bits for copper pipe.  I think it cam out MUCH better, so now its time to paint the gnome!

Right so I had this idea... How cool would it be to have part of a crane arm for a base? So, well I figured i would give it a shot and here is what I got:

So now that my 40k stuff is all done it was time to paint one just for the fun of it!

I also was paying around with greenstuff to make her base, and I think it came out well.

And she is DONE! Now I have painted every bit of 40k that I own....So I guess it's time to order some more :D.  I DO need a good 1500 point list after all!

Well I got it all together and it took FOREVER, about 4 hours in fact.  But now comes the fun part the painting!

She is DONE! And she was fun to paint :D.  I think the steampunk style base came out great and I also tried printing pics to use as a background with the light box... I diff still need some work with that, but these are the two pics that I looked at to get ideas for the base and they did not come out to bad as backdrops.

So taking a small break from 40k before I paint my Valkyrie to paint a mini for one of my best friends to use in our D&D game.  Going with a steampunk theme to fit the game we are playing, it is after all hard to beat airships! I just finished her base and now all that is left is to paint the mini and I think it's going to come out great.

Here come the Arty!! I know some little blood angels and chaos space marines alpha legion boys that might want to invest in an umbrella it looks a bit like rain.

And lets all say hello to the Emperor's brand new 107th Mechanized Infantry Division!

Last thing to do is build and paint the Valkyrie but that will not take long and I have a reaper mini to paint first for roll play.
